I’m Gina Kananipua — the maker behind Eco Mindful Lei. I’m trained in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and became a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in 2011. I am an Environmental Advocate and educator in beautiful Waikiki, Hawaii.

SPECIAL EVENTS & REQUESTS

I offer services for special occasions such as lei exchange wedding ceremony additions, celebrations of life, bridal showers, baby showers, anniversaries, birthday parties, bachelorettes, family reunions, special events, and corporate events. Whatever the occasion, I can create a custom package with special meaningful touches to fit your needs.

  • You can text (808) 426-8LEI. I will be in touch with you soon. You can also fill out the form via email, but please keep in mind that sometimes my replies get sent to spam so text is best.

  • Occasionally within the Honolulu metro area, please fill out this form to request delivery.

  • At this time, I do not.

  • This one is tricky…due to the seasonality and availability of flowers, I can only guarantee the flowers that I grow locally.

    Anytime I have to go to the market, it’s based on whatever shipment they receive that week.

    I ask that customers allow room for creativity.

  • I am located in Waikiki near the zoo for pickup. I set up my Waikiki beach workshops nearby. I will send all the details where to meet closer to your booking date.

  • Yes! It is a beautiful ritual.

    Lei Po’o can be deconstructed, pulled apart, or set in a special place in nature & will 100% decompose.

  • It is an act of Aloha to gift your lei to someone else to wear, place it someplace special to you in nature here on the Island, bury it, or you can keep it displayed until you are ready to return it to the earth.

  • Yes, you can. It will pass through agriculture, and pack it with a moist paper towel in an air-tight container or bag.

  • Yes! I can do a workshop in any location on Oahu. Just check my private workshop page.
